Big Boy

Case is now 31 weeks and 5 days. According to the high risk specialist I saw today, he is 4 lb 4 oz and is doing great. Everything looks perfect on his end. No concerns from the doctor but his mom is a little concerned that he has been butt down for the last 3 ultrasounds. He has about 4 weeks to get in position. Please keep this in your prayers as it does bother his mommy! : )

The Ultimate 3-D Case Experience

This weekend was mother's day and we were fortunate enough to have most of our family here to experience it. It was a full house, but it was fun and everyone was able to see the ultrasound in person. We hope everyone had as much fun as we had. Here are some pictures for those of you not able to be here. What a weekend. After everyone left we went to Target and found a few toys for the baby: baby hockey sticks, baseball bat, Care Bear, and some Gi Joes. Maybe we'll have pics of those next time. Happy mother's day everyone.

Making Progress

We are making progress on Case's room. We refinished the old dresser to match the rocking chair and the crib and picked up some wall decals on clearance at Target. It was a lot of work but it turned out good.

It looks even better than before. The decals turned out great. The room looks incredible and we couldn't be happier with everything.

We had a productive weekend finishing the dresser and fixing up the room. It was as much exercise as the hockey I've been playing. My hands are still numb from the sanding but it was worth it.

Congratulations Comb and Simone

I would like to congratulate our friends Comb and Simone on their new baby girl, Claire. Everything went smoothly and crazy Comb says everyone is healthy and happy, even if he didn't sleep last night. As a former room mate of Comb's I can attest that very rarely does Comb ever sleep at night and he might be nocturnal, but he did have a good reason to be restless. We wish you guys the best of luck and can't wait to see pictures and get to see you guys.

This weekend we did a lot of yard work, trimming bushes and replacing mulch. It was tiring, but it looks really good compared to the jungle we had before.

Before and After pictures.

American Idol is currently on and it appears Elliot Yamin did not fall off the face of the Earth as I previously had believed and he is as boring as ever.

Warning! Bare Belly Alert

If you do not want to see my bare belly look away now! Do not scroll down. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. Last week my belly grew 3/4 of an inch and in 2 weeks I've gained my 5lb allotment for the month. Yes, 5 pounds for the entire month and I still have 2 weeks to go! Oops, better cut back on the ice cream and donuts. Darn these cravings. :)

You only have a few more seconds to look away before you see my bare belly. First, you will see a picture of Christian and I from the weekend. I am wearing my new orange shirt that she helped me pick out. Following a picture of Christian and I will be a picture of my belly. If you decide to look, please keep in mind that Case is nearing 12 inches and 2 pounds. There really isn't much room in one's belly to pack in a 12 inch baby.

24 weeks and a few days

LAST CHANCE!

Please disregard the look of disgust. I was tired of picture taking
and the belly is shocking even to me.

Kick-a-poo

It has come to my attention that some think I am responsible for this post. Please know that Keith wrote this one. I would never describe my poor baby as being "confined in a sac of mucus" nor would I make him share his website with Dolly and Priscilla. :)

This week was the first week we have been able to see the baby kicking from the outside. And boy did he kick. He is getting ready for a soccer career I think, or just strengthening his legs for all the hockey he's going to play. One or the other. Probably hockey though. I also think it could have been listening to Dolly Parton sing on American Idol though. The sound was surely even more obnoxious when you are confined in a sac of mucus than just hearing it come out of her stretched face. The only person more painful to look at is Priscilla on dancing with the stars. Either way, Case is pretty sure he didn't like what he heard. He seems to be pretty sensitive to music when it's on. It also doesn't help when we poke at him too. I'm sure it makes him want to kick even more.

Ouch, it hurts my face looking at those pictures. But I guess they look good for 62.
